OAK
Oak Lounge is fast becoming Blue Bones best seller. The occasional living range, constructed from oiled American White Oak, includes nests of tables, cubes, shelving solutions and coffee tables.
The unique designs use tactile curved joints to showcase the superior craftsmanship and quality of timber. Recent additions are a stunning desk and a second coffee table with a ‘floating drawer’ design.
The range is just one of the Blue Bone Oak ranges, others include the Toulouse Oak Bedroom range which again uses curves, this time with convex drawer fronts and a stylish sleigh bed with smooth horizontal bars. Solid timber is used throughout, and unique design and attention to detail sets the Blue Bone ranges apart from others on the market.
The Blue Bone contemporary Lounge range of occasionals, has won many new fans since it was launched in Oak in January. The original range, in walnut finish, has twenty four pieces, and the best selling items are now also available in oak. The latest piece in oak is the Lounge desk, a stunning addition, with retro art deco style curves, and three drawers to one side. At the Manchester show, it was one of the most popular items on the stand!
Many stores opt for displaying both finishes, the oak actually works very well alongside the walnut finish in this range.
The walnut finish is applied to New Zealand Radiata timber, which is actually a type of pine, and the Oak is White American Oak with a natural oiled finish.
